How could you take this real-life event and turn this into a game ?

 I would make this into a game by gathering more information about it then sketch some pictures of it then create it into a game.

 What genre would you focus on? 
I would probably focus on science since it involves lots of science.

 What skill or topic would your game teach? My game will teach important science facts. What would the player have to do in the game? 
The player would have to try and stop the meteor from crashing.

 What would the hero of your game look like? The enemy? 
 The hero would look like a young boy or girl trying to stop the meteor from crashing. the enemy would look like a big chunk of rock.

 What type of animations or sounds would the player see and hear? 
The player would probably see the meteor falling from the sky and coming towards earth.

 What would be the title of your game? 
The title would be ''Stop the Meteor''
