My topic is about Volcanoes and natural disasters

This issue interests me because thousandths of people have have died in earthquakes, hurricanes, volcano eruptions, Tsunamis  and floods.

I want people to learn what others have to go through and to recognize those who have died in accidents and how to stay away from one or important facts that can be useful in these kinds of situations.

 This issue needs to be addressed because to many deaths are occurred per natural disasters so maybe they can be someway to prevent that from happening by maybe creating a game?

1. What challenges do the penguins have to overcome?
The penguins have to stay alive, stay warm, stay away from predators and also eat. They need to also keep their population from extinction.


2. How does their habitat challenge their livelihood each day?
Because Antartica is a very cold place and sometimes it can be too cold that it causes the penguins to die.
In their habitat they also find some predators out to eat them so mainly the new born penguins but also the adult ones are in danger of animals below the ice so for when they go catch food/prey other aniimals are looking for penguins to be their prey.


3.What types of adaptions do penguins need in order to survive brutal winters ans predators?
Thicker layer of fur to stay warmer. Better use of their body parts such as hands so they can stay away from predators and defend themselves


4.Why is there a period of time in which there is practically no sunlight? How does this effect the climate?
The reason why is, Antartica is all of the way in the bottom of the Earth not much sunlight travels to the bottom of the Earth so it causes it to be cold and dark. 


* Why is it important that the ground is frozen solid during the months of breeding?
  So they can have a place to breed also have have something to set foot upon they can't just be swimming all their life because they have lungs not gills therefore they need land and ice. We can also do something to help the penguins survive by not releasing that many greenhouse gasses in to our atmosphere and the way we can all prevent that is buy maybe using a bike once in a while or conserve gas and by not using much gas can help a lot to our penguins.

you can control a hedgehog and pass a level and at the same time you may answer questions but if you get it wrong you are going to have to repeat the level all over again.

How do you play it:
you can use the arrow keys to control the Hedgehog allowing you to move right, left,down and up and there is a additional button that makes the Hedgehog jump up high.

Gamer's solve scientific problems

How did gamers use the computer gameFoldit to solve the protein folding mystery? 
it showed them a model of the low protein problem and from there they can figure out whats the problem and how can they fix it.
Who can participate in this problem solving and be a player in Foldit? 
we can participate in this by creating our own models and figuring out how to cure the situation.
What can critical thinking do for science? 
critical thinking can allow you to find an answer without having allot of resources and it can give u a new skill and can help you allot in life.
If you could solve a mystery through gaming for any kind of disease or illness in the world, what would it be? 
I would solve the cure for cancer and how to prevent it from spreading. I would create a game showing people what they can do to prevent any of this disease get them.

September 11 was a tragic day...
How old were you on September 11, 2001?
I was 3 years old and i cant remember what i was doing but i knew what age i was and new i was alive  and would of probably been doing something unimportant.
2. When did you first learn about the attacks and who explained the events to you?
I first learned that someone had took the plane with passengers and drove it to the twin towers killing them selves and everyone in them this happened twice my dad said. 
3. What kind of impact did these attacks have on your life or your parents lives?
i feel that the thought of nearly three thousand Innocent people dying is horrible. When i had herd who had bombed the World Trait Center i was angry. I felt like wanting to do something to change the history of this happening but i knew i did nothing. Hoping community would donate money to help the one's that have suffered and in need. Someone needs to step up and help them. Ten years passed it now the tenth year since the twin towers collapsed finally the people that have suffered from it have recovered.
1. What was the issue with this game?
The issue is creating a game that makes fun of a incident with such magnitude is no laughable matter.
2. How do you feel about it?
I feel that people are going to get seriously offended because of this game.
3. What is the problem with portraying on such an awful violent event through a video game?
Posting a game that creates such a bad feeling about 9-11 especially knowing that thousands of people past away during that  incident is completely insane.
4. How can you make sure that your web games tell the whole story or teach a lesson in an honorable way?
By showing facts and statements about the commemorated situation that you're trying to create you're game about. not showing blood and gore that game would of been very offensive to several people

Danger of a single story

What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community?

A single story about the community would mean how one person grew thinking this certain way and then finish off thinking the other way it could be a place, person or culture.

Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community?

When people think of Texas they think of cowboys, cows and horses but although they never actually been here to experience what were like or what we like to do. Whats missing is they never asked anybody on their opinion on what they themselves the people that are actually living their. To be able to make people learn about culture all over the world is to get speaker to talk to everybody so they can acknowledge that not everyone is what you picture in you're mind.

Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn that story? How could you find out more about that community? Whenever i think of Africans i think of no shirt sunburned really skinny and eat once a day but as i learned more about Africans and their culture i found out i was wrong. I can find out more if teachers speakers or parents start teaching us more and more information on cultures and people.

How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community?

Maybe creating a game with important facts about different community's and sharing good ideas that can be used to prevent this.

What is cyberbullying?

Cyber bullying is a bully who tries to destroy you socially because eighter they think its funny, they hate you or they do it because others do it to them. The reason why this is so bad is because it can end up causing someone to run away or even make someone die. Recently they have been making laws on cyberbulling but not all states have cyberbullying laws.

How does the main character feel about using "clicksters" in the beginning of the film ?
Taylor likes the website because she thinks that website is a good place to talk with the guy she likes.

What is her family situation?

Taylor has to live with her mom because her parents are divorced.

What type of friendship does she have?
In the beginning she has two close friends that hang out together every day but in the end it kind of changes because her friends stop talking to her.

How does Taylor react to the mean comments people keep posting about her?

At first she doesn't react care but as they get more and more private she gets really upset and starts to cry.

Does she ever try to stop people from posting insults? what should she have done ?

She doesn't really try to do anything about but she does try to ignore it. Taylor should of at least block the user or if it got too far she should of deleted her account to end it.

How do you think Taylor felt about her friends betraying her?

Taylor felt so used and had no friends so she was lonely and at that point she decided to try to suicide herself but her friend saved her. In the end she was happy that the bullying had stop and she became friends again with everyone.

Nintendo 3DS

the new nintendo 3ds is so cool it has so many new features but the graphics look exactly the same wich i dont understand ? anyways i think its pretty cool that the company nintendo is moving on and making some new consoles with new features but i also thought nintendo could of improved it a little bit more on the graphics and could of actualy made the graphics 3D. so i think the price is a bit to expencive for the same sucky graphics it shoul be 200$ not 250$. it's pretty cool. The tsunami in japan was very disturbing knowing that thousands of people where killed and are missing i never thought a tsunami could happen so soon and so fast in a day i feel that their in need of lots of help so i think it could be possible for our school to do something like a fun raiser. i hope japan will soon recover from the disaster.

Next Generation Portabe

The fact that Sony is going to release a new version like similar console to the P.S.P. is great supposebly its going to be called th next generation portable but it looks more like the psp to me. However it looks realy advanced and it's touch screen thats one of the newest features it has you be touching the back touch screen pad while playing the video game on the screen in front but another thing is how much will the price be i got a feeling that its probably going to be very expencive. i like the new name it was about time they thought of something more creative Sony use to just go with the same name but just different versions but now they have a new name for a console and has some amasing new features but i wonder when it's going to come out. I wonder what kind of graphics it's going to have and what kind of games are going to be release on that console.the last thing is how they came up with this new idea i think it was about time to make a new portable game maybe that why they were inspired.

principal ps.112 likes the program alot there are also some young kids that feel very comfortable about dancing infront of their teacher. the whole story is about all of the kids and traners trying their very est to win the huge prize trophy based on dancing all kinds of dances. After every one is ready to dance but then alot of them et very stage fright wich could probably make them mess up or caused them to lose the competition. int the ned after everyone has worked hard all the way trough they go to the championships and give it their all and then in the end ps. i dont know won yaaaaay every body is happy THE END

At the beginning of the movie, Jimmy is walking down the highway. Where is he going?
jimmy goes into a room where theres a game station so he goes there to play it and to practice for the video game competition.but soon meet up with this strange girl.

What is the problem that the little boy, Jimmy, has?

The problem that jimmy has is along tome ago he had a twin named jeniffer but one day she was walking by the lake and she accidentaly drowned so now jimmy has some problems and memories trying to get over her.

I think this touch screen stylist game could be the next generation of gaming and from the looks of it it is very difficult and far advance in technology if only i could get to play but it must cost allot so it doesn't look like I'm playing something like that any time soon the combination of the game and physics. My thoughts about it being a puzzle game are pretty good usually they would make a game about blood and gore wich means now would be a good time to realease something different. The profits of this game would be allot money, fame and happy buyers. I hope someday i could possibly invent something like that.

I think it was pretty much time that some big company hosting something huge like a science fair. i think its most likely going to be a huge one i can already see allot of people joining there. i see myself entering there already but i still think I'm not going to win because they are people that are way more people that are older and more experienced then and that have more capability. I think it would be cool to see people from all over the world there so i can get to meet them and what they come up with but we'll be competing with each other and hopefully will be friendly. My ideas right now would be to make a telescope that can see into far far distances or i could possibly make a new game station
